In Memoriam

In Memoriam

Traditionally, people have sent flowers to pay respects to a lost loved one, however many people
now choose a more lasting tribute in the form of a charitable donation. Making an In Memoriam
donation is a very meaningful way to honour a person’s life and interests.

You can make an In Memoriam donation in lieu of sending flowers to the funeral, or you may also
like to remember them on the anniversary of their death, on their birthday, at Christmas or at any
other special occasion.

The Institute can provide In Memoriam forms and reply paid envelopes to make available at the funeral service or you can let family and friends know about making a donation to the Institute via the funeral notice. Donations can be made online, by phone or by downloading the donation form.

Once we have received your In Memoriam donation, we will send the next of kin a letter listing
the names of that that have made a donation in memory of their loved one, however no individual
donation amounts will be provided. You will receive a separate acknowledgement for your
thoughtful gift with a receipt for tax purposes (all donations over $2 are tax deductible).
